Lockport, NY, November, 2010— Success in the equipment rental business hinges on two factors: servicing the customer better than the competition and maintaining a fleet of equipment to deliver the best return on investment. Choosing the right equipment to offer is critical to both goals. Clark Rigging & Rental recently added a new 400-ton Terex AC350/6 hydraulic all terrain crane to its fleet of more than 60 pieces of equipment to meet growing customer demand for large-sized hydraulic cranes. By upgrading to the latest technology, Clark will provide customers with additional capability, better cost performance, and a safer machine, while lowering its own operation and maintenance costs.
Dave Clark, vice president of Clark Rigging, announced the addition. Even with the most diverse selection of equipment in our region, we still had a conspicuous gap in our product offering between the 300-ton and 600-ton truck cranes. Customers wanted more performance than the 300-ton models offered, but were reluctant to pay for 600-ton capacity. Our new 400-ton crane services that market with the latest/ greatest machine on the market. With its state-of-the-art electronics, executing any lift plan is a snap. The machine is safer and costs less to transport and operate. And, with its optional luffing jib deployed, this crane can extend into areas that other cranes can't reach.
